BioLite offers an environmentally friendly source of electricity
For a long time, humanity has been interested in the issue of environmental pollution and the search for alternative sources of power. The BioLite company managed to combine these two aspects in one device - the BioLite Campstove.
The BioLite company develops and manufactures advanced energy-efficient products that will allow you to combine the two most necessary things on a hike - cooking and charging your mobile device. Behind this invention is a 50-year development history and more than 30 unique patents. The products of this company are used in many countries of the world, including those supplied as humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters. BioLite products can save up to $47 million for the whole world - that's how much fuel is used for generators and light sources in places without access to electricity.
The principle of operation consists in the transformation of thermal energy into electricity, but what is most interesting, these devices do not work on liquid fuel or gas, but on firewood and organic biomass (leaves, cones, etc.). You can forget about generators and additional fuel, you no longer need to carry around explosive gas cylinders and bulky gas stoves. The fuel for your camping stove can be found under your feet. And you will never be left without a connection due to a discharged mobile battery.
I think that everyone will be able to find a use for these devices. You can take them with you on a hike, fishing, and just to a country house (because often country houses do not have electricity).
Let's take a closer look at the devices.
Biolite Campstove
This is a unique portable campfire with the ability to charge your mobile device. It is characterized by compactness and high-quality materials, the weight of this device is less than a kilogram, which allows you to easily take it with you. The principle of operation is very simple. The device consists of two parts - a burner and a module for converting thermal energy into electricity. You and I reviewed part of the product line from the BioLite company, to be honest, as a person who loves fishing, it would be very convenient for me to take a portable version with me, since with the right body kit, it removes the need to carry a bunch of unnecessary things. But BaseCamp is not suitable for hiking, even in a convenient cover, since +8 kilograms of weight seem tolerable only for the first kilometer of the road. But still, the ability to conveniently organize a parking lot, charge a phone, install lighting, and cook food using one device, while not carrying gas or gasoline (carbon monoxide from which is far from safe), is very useful.
