The history of the American company Lowe Alpine dates back to 1972, when the Lowe brothers, who were passionate about mountaineering, registered a company for the production of tourist equipment.
Spending winters in the mountains and summers on climbing routes, Mike, Greg and Jeff developed their own special style of mountain expeditions. Now this style is commonly called "alpine" - an approach without the accompaniment of a support group and a rapid ascent with a set of minimally necessary equipment, which must be carried independently.
The desire to improve their equipment led to the development of a completely new, at that time, type of backpack with an internal aluminum frame. The Expedition Pack was not a bulky backpack, comfortable and allowed to evenly distribute the load on the back. In addition to the frame, this model was the first in the industry to use side compression straps to adjust the volume of the backpack and attach additional equipment to it: a tent, sleeping bag, rope or jacket on a long hike. Developed in 1967, this backpack has become the basis of the standard for trekking and expedition backpacks of our time.

Not limiting itself to mountaineering, the company expanded its lines with trekking models, stylish city backpacks and universal multi-sport backpacks, backpacks for cyclists, children's backpacks for school and training, travel bags and accessories for travelers. Each line offers a variety of sizes, colors and models designed for women.
