Accapi is an Italian brand that produces functional underwear and socks for sports, trekking, alpine skiing and everyday wear.
The history of the company began in the 50s of the twentieth century, when Bruno Chiaruttini founded a small textile factory for producing classic socks. Over the next decades, the family business, run by Bruno and his son Claudio, grew and expanded.
In the 80s, the company expanded its product range with socks for sports. This is a time when sports became more and more popular and there was competition in the field of sportswear. As competition grew, so did the demands on equipment. Socks have ceased to be an inconspicuous part of an athlete's wardrobe, and, along with other elements of clothing, have become an important part of victory.
Having created a base of developments and patents in the 90s, Accapi completely focused its attention on the production of a sports line of products. Having made the production of sports socks its specialization, the company has created a reliable foundation for further development.
In the 2000s, the re-equipment of the production base with the latest equipment made it possible to supplement the product line with functional underwear for sports and travel. In the equipment produced, the technologists took into account all the requirements for the functionality of the underwear - zonal structure, effective removal of moisture from the skin and support of the body in the process of thermoregulation during exercise, elasticity and wearing comfort.
In the modern world, functional underwear and specialized socks have become the base layer not only for “cold” sports (cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and snowboarding), but also a common item of clothing for hunters, law enforcement officers, tourists and travelers. Using thermal underwear and socks as the first layer, you can significantly expand the range of comfortable temperatures when running, cycling, and even during simple walks in nature.
Now, developing and applying new technologies, with careful quality control, the brand is expanding and improving its product line. Rapidly developing and expanding its markets, Accapi, now under the management of the third generation, maintains the values of the family business of the Chiaruttini family.
